KIDDLE Stanley J.

Stan was born on the 14th of December 1931 in West Perth.
He came to Gnowangerup with his parents, James and Florence Kiddle at the age of six years when his parents purchased a carrying business from Mr. G. W. Parker.
Stan started driving trucks at an early age. He was only 14 and contract gravel carting for the Shire with his father's truck.
He met Ave Hinkley and they married in 1951.
After the death of his father, Stan at the age of 19, and with the help of his mother, took over the responsibility of the business.
His first child Phillip was born in 1953, followed by Gidget, Robert, lan and Bruce.
In 1975, owing to ill health, he was forced into semi-retirement. Stan and Ave, moved to Albany in 1988 where they lived until Stan passed away in the Albany Regional Hospital after a short illness on 21st of October 1999, at the age of 67 years.

People of Gnowangerup and districts were saddened to learn of the demise of a respected friend and businessman when Stan Kiddle passed away, leaving his wife Ave and adult family to mourn their loss.
A large gathering of relatives and friends assembled at the Gnowangerup cemetery to express their last farewells at a grave side service on the 23rd of October, 1999.
